Whether you’re coordinating volunteers, monitoring events, or sharing on-the-ground updates, RESIST puts trusted tools in one place. RESIST DOES NOT TRACK AND STORE YOUR LOCATION. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Connect: Drop a dot, see who’s nearby, and rally support. • Field Notes: Post citizen-powered updates - news, testimony, open letters, questions, and on-the-ground reports. • Events: Plan meetups, town halls, volunteer drives, fundraisers, and more. • Incidents: Report what you witness in real time and notify nearby users. • Registry: Maintain entries for people/incidents your community tracks. • Messages: Coordinate with secure direct messages and threaded comments. • Controls: Choose what you follow and how you’re notified. EVENTS • Create events that mobilize: protests, meetings, parades, market days, clean-ups, fundraisers, more. • Toolkits help with organizing, volunteers, and promotion. • Accept direct support (where available) and broadcast across channels. INCIDENTS • Post live with photos/video and optional location to document what’s happening. • Instant notifications help nearby users show up, record, and provide support. • Incidents are cataloged so patterns and repeat issues are easier to see. THE REGISTRY • Keep a structured history of people or incidents your community tracks. • Optional image matching can help you review whether a new photo resembles an existing entry (accuracy varies; always verify). • Add notes, sightings, and media over time to build actionable context. MONETIZE & SUPPORT (OPTIONAL) • Buy credits to support contributors and features. • Contribute directly to events, organizers, or causes - or use the Community Fund for targeted distribution. • Eligible participants can enroll to receive payouts on matured credits (fees and schedules shown in-app). PRIVACY & SAFETY • You control what you share; location/media are optional. • Fine-grained notification settings (in-app, email). • Clear data and account deletion request flow available in-app. • Use responsibly and in accordance with local laws and platform policies.
